Admissions:
Individuals are admitted to the Northeast Mental Health Centre based on a referral process. Most NEMHC Programs and Services require a referral from a family physician or other health care provider or agency.
Emergencies:
If you are in a crisis, and need to access mental health services, go to the emergency department of your nearest general hospital.

As the largest provider of mental health services in northeast Ontario, NEMHC is committed to working with other service providers, patients and their families in the design and implementation of care. NEMHC offers a wide range of programs and services.
