Native Services
Native Services provides support to the Native population of the hospital and to patients residing in the community through programming such as social luncheons, community outings, talking circles, drop-in centre, and traditional activities like Native arts and crafts and language classes. Other services include the coordination of sweatlodge ceremonies, seasonal feasts, translation services, and may provide spiritual/cultural assessments, counselling, liaison, cultural workshops and an escort for patients who wish to have a home visit.
