Program Overview

RCPC offers specialized, interdisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services for children and adolescents requiring psychiatric assessment, consultation, and intervention, through office visits, admission, and telemedicine. The service is intended to provide specialized supports to primary physicians and children's mental health professionals and supports to secondary care district psychiatrists and pediatricians.

Eligibility

The population that all RCPC programs serve is children and adolescents under 18 years of age with known or suspected mental illness. Families are an integral part of the assessment and treatment process. Please refer to program specific eligibility criteria for Child & Adolescent Outpatient Services, Regional Family Program, and RMC day treatment for details.

Referral Process

Referrals for all RCPC services are accepted from primary and secondary care mental health agencies, family physicians, or other mental health professionals.
